The Problem
Your OEM plastic wiring loom covers are over 25 years old. Heat and age have made them brittle, mounting tabs break off — and once they crumble, your injector wiring is exposed to the engine bay. Heat, moisture, and abrasion will eventually cause misfires, rough idle, or worse.
The Fix
Our repair kit replaces those failed plastic covers with precision CNC aluminum brackets that bolt to your engine's original mounting points. No modification, no cutting, no drilling. Just bolt them on and secure your wiring.
In 2024 I spent about a year doing a full mechanical restoration on my '98 4Runner. Suspension, steering, engine reseal, timing belt, injectors — the whole deal. While I was waiting on parts from Japan, I pulled the plastic wiring loom covers off my injector harness and they crumbled in my hands. 25 years of engine heat will do that.
There was no replacement. Toyota doesn't sell them anymore and nobody in the aftermarket makes one. So I designed my own bracket kit out of aluminum, had them laser cut, and bolted them on.
I posted it on r/3rdGen4Runner and people started asking to buy them. That's how ThirdGenRegen started — not as a business plan, just a fix for my own truck that other people needed too.
